I find a lot of inspiration in landscapes and structures, especially in the western United States where I live. I absolutely love wandering around the countryside, desert, and mountains taking time to observe not only the flora and fauna, but also the outbuildings and structures that remain from the days gone by. I often take photos and make sketches in the field that I later refer to while painting studies of these Places. I typically approach these paintings in a variety of styles and mediums including Watercolor, Acrylic, Gouache, and Oil.
